Jamie McFarlane

Member

Jamie represents debtors and creditors in the areas of reorganization, insolvency, receivership, and bankruptcy.

Jamie assists individuals and businesses in resolving financial distress, whether it be relief under Chapter 7, 11, or 13 of the Bankruptcy Code or negotiating a workout with creditors. He is an experienced researcher of complex litigation, commercial and bankruptcy related issues.  He is also experienced in the complicated relationship between family law and insolvency law.

Prior to working on insolvency issues at the Tracy Law Group and the Crocker Law Group, Jamie advocated for citizens in need at Fremont Public Association (Solid Ground) and Kittitas County Volunteer Legal Services.  He graduated from Seattle University School of Law and is a member of the Washington State Bar.

During his free time, Jamie enjoys reading and discussing economic theory, dreaming of the SuperSonics return to Seattle, volunteering at the Downtown Seattle Debt Clinic and Federal Pro Bono Bankruptcy Clinic, and spending time with his family.
